self initiated design project
A self initiated design project for a deck of playing cards. Based on minimal design principles and a limited color pallet I designed a set of playing cards. Using a cotton based paper stock allowed for embossed details to be used on the packaging. This gives the set a luxury look and feel. The illustrations and icons where build up using a limited set of angles and curves set on a fixed grid ensure a consistent look between both the cards and the packaging.
